[NEWS AND VIEWS] « Only 240 sites! | Home | Our space is open. » December 11, 2003Do you blog? After President Khatami mentions the explosion of weblogging in Iran, Cara Swift asks: do you use weblogs, Mr President?"I do not use weblogs," the President replied. "But I do not use many good things. My own daughters do not have weblogs but they are very active in using the internet and chat. Our youth and adolescents during high school - and university - are using weblogs very extensively. In universities, there is a lot of access and there are many internet cafes in Iran. Access for youth to the internet is very satisfactory." David Steven @ December 11, 2003 07:27 PM

"Access for youth to the internet is very satisfactory."
I'd have to say that would be for the Iranian youth to determine. Taran @ December 11, 2003 08:07 PM
Could you please collect all posts from Khatami's interview in one single post so it's easier to link to it? Thanks for the good job by the way David.

Mr. Khatami is a liar!!! He does not know any thing about Iranian youth. Mr. Khatami still does not get it. The Iranian youth do not want him any longer. He is "zero" in our eyes. Long live Iran. Our freedom is on its way...so, please stand by!!!
