Conflict Women. The internet is being used as a tool to help track the impact of armed conflict on women, and women's roles in peace-building. The
United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) has launched a web portal with information on women in conflict zones. Three years since a UN Security Council resolution called for prosecution of crimes against women and increased protection of women and children during war, UNIFEM says
information is still scarce and scattered.
